Landscaping Committee
The Sylvan Heights landscape committee was formed to assist the Sylvan Heights Board in the transition to a more fire and drought-resistant native landscape, while maintaining the aesthetics of our natural landscape and enhancing the livability of the community for all of its residents. We work closely with our landscaping vendor and are currently restoring five acres of woods on the property with the goal of establishing nature trails throughout. In addition, we have future plans to convert some of the property into a community garden. |
Firewise Committee
Our mission is to proactively assess, address, and minimize the risk of wildfires within our community by fostering a culture of preparedness, collaboration, and continuous improvement. In close partnership with the local fire department, we are dedicated to creating a resilient and fire-safe environment that prioritizes the safety and well-being of our residents. As a result of our efforts, Sylvan Heights has been a recognized Firewise Site since 2023. |
