Board Member Responsibilities
As elected volunteers, Sylvan Heights Board Members agree to:

• Take responsibility for the fiduciary well-being of the community
• Exercise sound business judgment & follow established management practices
• Balance the needs & obligations of the community as a whole with those of individual owners and non-owner residents
  
• Familiarize with and understand the association's governing documents, and rules and regulations
• Establish committees and other methods to obtain input from owners
• Conduct open meetings, as required by state law
• Encourage open communication between board members, management and owners
• Encourage events that foster a sense of community
